CONSULTANT STRATEGIES

I have been approached throughout the years during my advocacy work by people who are curious on how I am able to have this relationship with "hard-core" women. How do I gain their trust and work with them? I am going to break down my strategy with you. However, at the end of the day it goes back to the sincerity of one's heart.

I have a relational strategy with the women I work with.

1. Territorial Outreach: Identify the women in their territory, ex. motels, streets, etc. 

2. I approach the women in a loving, friendly, respectful and non-threatening manner. 

3. I engage the women in conversation to see what their needs are such as food, shelter, hygiene, and/or resources. 

4. I collect their name, phone number and social media outlet such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc... 

5. I repetitively am in contact with them. This gains their trust through intentional, relational and consistent contact. 

6. My goal is to be a support system, advocate and a resource for them when they are ready to change their lives.

Since 1998, I have worked with over 1,000 underprivileged women in getting them off the streets to become productive citizens of society.
